Ambition and surpassing expectations right from the start

In 1946, Pierre (Pete) Morin hung up his skates after a field hockey career he’d been leading since 1934 (for the Montreal Canadiens, then the Montreal Royals). A new career then began for him, as he set up his own property and casualty insurance brokerage firm.

Since the birth of Morin assurance, the relationship of trust with our customers has been a priority for the entire team. It was on this basis that the company was founded, and it’s still what drives the firm today.

In 2021, Malouin Assurance, headquartered in Saint-Césaire, acquired the company. The company is in excellent health, and Malouin brings its expertise in all types of insurance, particularly agricultural. The adventure continues, and the human factor remains at the heart of the firm’s priorities.
